range closes a half-hour before the store for clean up.

A: Range time costs $5 for the first shooter for the first
HALF-HOUR, $3 for an additional half-hour or an additional
shooter on the same lane.

our ammo for liability reasons. If you bring your own gun(s),
you can use your ammo.

and if you do not have your own, there is a 50 cent rental
fee for each item.

Ammo:
- Please check with an employee for pricing on any
ammo. Because of recent events we are limiting one box
per customer per day. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Q: What do I need to buy a gun?
A: For handguns, we need a
valid Georgia ID with a current address. If the address on
your ID is no longer correct, a state issued ID will suffice
for proof of address (for example: a concealed carry permit
or a hunting/fishing license).
For long guns, a valid GA or AL ID with a current
address. If the address on your ID is no longer correct, a
state issued ID will suffice for proof of address (for
example: a concealed carry permit or a hunting/fishing
license).
FOR MILITARY:
All we need from military is your driver's license, Military
ID and PCS orders bring you to Fort Benning. If you're on
TDY orders, those , unfortunately, are not enough to prove
residency in Georgia. If you're a mobilized reservist with
orders for 365 days or more, or a series of orders that
prove you've been here or will be here for more than 365
days, that will work, and we will need copies of all of
them.
Q. Do you offer Layaway?
A. Yes. Our layaway terms are 20% down payment, 90
days same as cash.
Q: Can you keep a copy of my PCS orders on file?
A: No. We do not have a system that will allow us to keep
track of every individual soldier's orders. We recommend
keeping a copy of your orders in your vehicle for future
purchases.
Q: Can I shoot my AR15 on your range?
A: No. We only allow pistol calibers and shotguns on the
range. This means that if you have a carbine in a pistol
caliber, it may be fired on our range. If you have an AR
Pistol that is chambered in .223 Rem or a similar caliber,
it is ABSOLUTELY NOT ALLOWED. If you are found shooting
rifle calibers on our range, you will be asked to leave, and
may be held responsible for damages caused by your firearm.
THIS IS SIMPLY A LIABILITY ISSUE.
Q: Where can I go to shoot my rifle?
A: There are several ranges at Georgia Wildlife Management
Areas, the two closest to Columbus are Big Lazer and
Hannahatchee Creek WMA's. Info for them can be found here:

Apart from those options, there is:
East Alabama has a nice facility, however the rifle range is
limited to 100yds. Fort Benning has a longer range, but is
set up for static firing only, whereas EAGC has bays that
allow for more "dynamic" practice.
We will be sure to add to this and edit it as
things change. If you have more specific questions, feel free
